I try to capture images that are everyday and look at them from a different angle. Some are successful and some are less, but the process is the same. The capture of light is the purpose of the process and the process is where the fun is. I hope you enjoy this site.
Well, I have had a change of mood lately and have been working more in color and with more of an aspect of digital art from a photgraphic base rather than just monochrome. So check it out at the Recent Color Work section of the site.
All my work is shot in color, on a digital slr camera and then converted to monochrome in Adobe Photoshop. I find this give me more flexibility with the process than I used to find when just shooting black and white film. Not all my work is in monochrome, but the majority is. It makes me think before during and after the shot. Monochrome allows my mind to concentrate on the form of an object and how the light strikes, falls or forms the work. I leave it to the viewer to decide if they like it, I hope they do. I hope you enjoy the site.
